Blue leopard spots accent nail

I spent ages trying to draw these leopard spots. I watched some tutorials on YouTube and searched Pinterest and Google Images for some inspiration. I found something I liked and wanted to emulate, so tried freehanding the spots, just practising on a paper plate. But it was really quite woeful.

Then I had a bit of a brainwave and thought I could stamp the spots on. I used Cheeky plate CH1 and it came out OK, but I thought it would look better if I coloured in the centre and then outlined the black edges a bit more using a dotting tool.

It’s not brilliant, and I’m not particularly happy with it, which is why I also only stopped at one nail. My inspiration for this design came from here, where she has created more than one leopard spots nail. Perhaps I might be more pleased with it if it was on all my nails, but it took long enough to get to this point that I couldn’t be bothered to do the rest of my nails!
